As a traditionally trained barber, Calen got his start in classic styles, pomade and skin fades. He has lived in Portland, Oregon the past 10 years, learning the hair trade alongside some of the city’s finest hairdressers. Because of this Calen’s barber roots shine in straight razor face shaving and the hairdressing influence makes him comfortable cutting many styles. Calen really enjoys doing “all-scissor” haircuts and natural-looking styles. Finally since he wants you to look good all the time, Calen will take time at the end of the haircut to help you understand how to style your hair to look barber-shop-fresh, even at home.
